2024 Luke Lambert Chardonnay

A beautifully refined Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Luke Lambert is one of the Yarra Valley’s great winemaking talents. He firmly believes that the personality of a wine will be dictated by its ‘place’, choosing to source fruit from rocky and elevated pockets through the Yarra Valley with an aim to showcase their unique geographic signature in the final wines.  All of Luke’s wines are of single-vineyard origin. The 2024 Chardonnay comes off the Denton block, a northwest-facing outcrop of granitic sand over heavy granite boulders. Whole bunch pressed, wild yeast fermentation followed by time in a seasoned 2,000 litre foudre. Unfined and unfiltered.  A striking Chardonnay of power and depth.
