2023 Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco

Vietti has become one of the most consistent overachievers in the Italian wine scene.  Nearly every wine that emerges from their cellars is outstanding offering an unprecedented level of consistency and quality across their entire range. Based in the heart of the Langhe region of Piedmont, the Vietti family have been making wine for four generations from their estate vineyards located within the five communes designated for the production of Barolo. Vietti’s focus is centred around making the highest quality wines, whilst retaining respect for the traditions of the specific appellations. The Langhe Perbacco is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the estate’s Barolo designated vineyards. Filled with ripe red fruits, cherry, plum, hints of truffle and subtle leather notes. Intense and powerful, yet medium bodied and filled with chalky tannins reminiscent of a good Barolo.
